David ButleinDavid Butlein, Ph.D. has utilized his background in transformational psychology to catalyze culture change as a management consultant for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. An expert in creating high-performance corporate cultures and teams, he is an energizing leader, coach and facilitator known for his capacity to galvanize groups to generate breakthrough results.

As a management consultant at JMJ Associates, Mr. Butlein worked on large-scale capital projects (such as mines, refineries, wind farms and offshore platforms) to develop leaders and create breakthroughs in performance. He also co-designed their new international Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) in Action programs; designed, tested and delivered their IIF Engagement and their IIF Mastery Programs; as well as having developed and led the U.S. sustainability team.

An integrally informed business coach, David is adept at giving feedback that spurs personal development. He has developed and run programs for leadership teams designed to solve persistent, complex "unsolvable" problems.

David is passionate about supporting businesses as they transition towards sustainability, and he is skillful in designing seriously fun games that develop people. He has created learning simulations for clients including Chevron, the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs and the University of Texas at Austin.

David obtained his Doctorate and Masters in Psychology at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, and his Bachelors in Philosophy at Boston University. Originally trained as a licensed clinical psychologist, he continues to develop himself in the cutting-edge models of integral leadership, Spiral Dynamics, integral sustainability and evolutionary leadership.
