Mark Cappellino helps senior corporate leaders and their leadership teams worldwide become more effective, strategic leaders. He is committed to working one-on-one with executives and their teams to enhance their self-awareness and improve their performance strategically, operationally and culturally. Mark has been retained by public, private and non-profit organizations in the Americas, Europe and Asia as a leadership consultant and executive coach.
In private industry, Mark has held the positions of director of organizational development, business unit leader, vice president of sales and marketing, and manufacturing supervisor. Leveraging the insights developed through 20 years experience as a business professional, Mark works from a systems perspective to help people clearly see the organizational systems in which they work. In 2004, he founded Primary Leadership LLC to focus on coaching senior executives in addressing the challenges they are working through in their organizations, next generation leaders around their specific development needs, and leadership teams on developing trust and improving communications.
Mark is passionate about education and is currently serving as an advisor for a leadership program for public school educators. Since 2010, he has also been providing professional coaching services to TED Fellows through the SupporTED Fellows program.
Mark obtained his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering & Management from Clarkson University and his master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. He is a charter member of the International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations (ICCO) and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
