Executive Coaching

At Praemia, we focus on what you care about. Foundational Coaching Program

Clear progress towards a goal in less than 30 days

This introductory program is for senior executives, senior managers and high-potential leaders. The focus is on gaining traction on a specific issue, achieving a quick win, and identifying and creating a plan for a key goal. The process involves:

  • Pre-session work
  • A customized in person Coaching Session (from one half day to 1.5 days long, either at the client site or at the Praemia Executive Center)
  • Post-session work.

Sustained Coaching Program

Measurable progress over a year towards identified goals and development as an integrated leader

This program focuses on identifiying critical organizational and personal goals, formulating or accelerating related projects and initiatives, and developing transformationl leadership competencies. With a one-year initial commitment, executives can see results in the areas of performance, relationships, development of self and others, and organizational/change leadership. As individuals, they will have greater clarity about worldviews, deeper self-awareness and new leadership practices and competencies. The process involves:

  • Pre-session work
  • An initial coaching session (in person either at the client site or at the Praemia Executive Center)
  • Regular coaching sessions twice a month (a combination of phone and in person sessions at either the Praemia Conference Center or the client’s location)
  • Ongoing coaching support on an as needed basis via email and phone.
Leaders may elect to renew their Sustained Coaching program for an additional six months.

Options

Personal Vision/Mission Process

Working with a Praemia coach, individuals develop a statement of their personal vision/mission using a clear set of guidelines and a template. This is not simply about discovering exactly what impact, contribution and legacy one wants to have: it is about exploring what one can authentically commit to creating in the future. This process also includes resources that may further the development and realization of the vision.

Feedback & Personal Development Plan

A Praemia coach develops a 360 or 180 interview process in consultation with the individual to obtain feedback from colleagues and clients. Interviews can be conducted on either a confidential or non-confidential basis and focus on specific areas of inquiry, such as:

  • Leadership and communication style
  • Effectiveness (decision-making, planning and performance management, leading teams and change initiatives)
  • Goal-setting 
  • Ability.
 The coach delivers a verbal or written report, including recommendations which guide the development and implementation of the individual's personal development plan.

Targeted Research

Praemia can develop white papers for executives tailored to specific organizational issues, such as:

  • Stepping up to Run a Larger Organization
  • Taking on Bigger Responsibilities
  • Managing Executive Transitions
  • Working with the Board 
  • Working the Cultural Issues In a Merger.
