Val Williams

For more than 15 years, Val Williams has coached and consulted—in person and virtually—with senior corporate executives and their teams in major corporations in the U.S., the U.K, Finland, France, Japan and Guatemala. As an executive leadership consultant and Master Certified Coach (MCC), Val specializes in helping leaders—from C-suite to director levels—develop and strengthen six core leadership skills: influence, vision development, strategic planning, team alignment, execution and people development. Individual coaching on significantly strengthening executive presence is one of Val’s specialties.
Val also works with executive and leadership teams, facilitating training seminars and coaching groups in developing leadership skills and teamwork. Using several leadership models she has developed, Val designs seminars and group coaching to include individual assessments and applied learning. These models are outlined in her books:

Val brings her on the ground experience as a corporate executive to every client interaction. While at Prudential Financial for 13 years, Val was Executive Director of Prucare (the HMO of Northern New Jersey), Director of Prucare Customer Service Operations for the Northeast Region, and Director of Group Underwriting, Prucare of New York. Val managed an operating budget of over $25 million and led over 850 people in two locations in managed healthcare.
A graduate of Tufts University (Bachelor of Science) and Boston University (Masters in Counseling Psychology), Val is a frequent and dynamic speaker at corporate management retreats and industry events. As a faculty member of the University of Miami, she currently teaches courses for coaches to enhance their coaching and business skills.
